William Paul Couch

William Paul Couch, 73, of Lakeview, died at 6:10 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2013 in the Dayton VA Medical Center, Dayton. He was born on April 24, 1940 in Mocksville, N.C., the son of James and Ruby (Baker) Couch. Paul was a machinist at SPECO and Elliott Co. Survivors include a daughter, Paula McConahay and husband Colin of Marysville; four sons, Allen and his wife Tabbie of Springfield, William Paul of Fairborn, Douglas Edward of Marysville and Raymond Lawrence of Marysville; 6 grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Murphy and husband Glen of Newcomerstown, OH; a brother, Samuel ODell and wife Betty of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Frances, and brothers, Virgil, Junior, T.A. and Lawrence. The family will receive friends 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2013 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, where a service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Inurnment will follow at Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana.
