William "Bill" Eugene Moss

William (Bill, Skeeter) Eugene Moss was born September 22, 1958 to Lucy Moss and the late Eugene William Moss in Urbana, Ohio. His Earthly journey ended on Wednesday, December 20, 2017.
Skeeter attended Urbana City Schools, graduating in 1976. He loved sports. If he couldn’t coach, or go to the games, he would be sitting in his favorite chair watching the games on TV. He gave over 30 years coaching girls basketball at all levels. He led them to a Division II Championship in 1992-1993 and won 403 career games. He also coached football. Skeeter taught his players responsibility along with sports.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Moss, and brother, Randy Moss.
He leaves to cherish his memories, mother, Lucy Moss; brother, Kevin Moss; nieces, Kaley, Kyra, Aubrey, Alaynah, Angel, Nisha, Karingtin and Kinsley; nephews, Damion, Chris and Nate; sister-in-law, Tracy; and his beloved cat, Butters.
Skeeter will be sadly missed by all of his family, the whole community, and the sports world.
The family will receive friends and community members from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Urbana High School, 500 Washington Ave., Urbana, OH, on Saturday, December 23, 2017, followed by a service at 12 p.m. with Rev. Herschel Byrd officiating.
