Virginia Ruth Buxton

BUXTON, Virginia Ruth age 91 of Urbana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Hearth and Home Nursing Home. She was born on December 10, 1928 to the late Charles W. and Edith H. (Lewis) Hurps in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Buxton and her daughter, Bridget Ann Buxton and seven siblings. She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory her children: Mary Beth (Fred E.) Henry, Bradley (JoEllen) Buxton and Branch Buxton; grandchildren: Isaac Henry, Elizabeth (John) Wing, Emmaline (Alex) Burnett, Breck Buxton. Great grandchildren Jack & Amelia Wing and Xander Burnett. Virginia was devoted to her faith and was a member of Epiphany Episcopal Church. She graduated from Mt. Vernon High School and enjoyed her time with TWIG 13 at Mercy Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Epiphany Episcopal Church. Virginia will be laid to rest next to her husband at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to PAWS, CTS, Ohio's Hospice of Dayton or Epiphany Episcopal Church in Virginia's honor.
