Vinnette I. Grennan

Vinnette I. Grennan, 96, of Urbana, formerly of Andover, OH, died on Monday, April 28, 2014 in Vancrest of Urbana. She was born on November 27, 1917 in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of Albert L. and Louise (Guhl) French. Vinnette, a graduate of Chesterland High School, retired as a meter technician from LFE in Chesterland, OH. She was a member of the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Andover and was a wonderful mom and grandma who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter, Kathryne A. Wright and her husband Axel of St. Paris; 2 sons, Edward L. Grennan of Chardon and Alexander F. Butch Grennan and his wife, Helen, of Andover; 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Charlotte French of Middlefield, OH; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Wilfred French and Arthur French; an infant sister, Merle; and a grandson. A memorial service will be held on May 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 481 S. Main St., Andover, OH, 44003.
