Vicki Sue Rogan

Urbana, Ohio

Vicki Sue Rogan, born on August 10, 1956, in Champaign County, Ohio, passed away in Columbus, Ohio, peacefully reuniting with her husband, Lewis and her Lord and Savior on March 23, 2024.

Vicki dedicated her life to caring for others with her selfless and nurturing nature. Her journey into the world of nursing began in 1998, where she served at various institutions. The cherished time she spent at Lawnview School also encompassed her love for others. Vicki's compassion and love extended beyond her career as she touched the lives of many with her warm spirit.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Vicki's heart belonged to her family. She found immense joy in supporting her grandchildren during their sporting events, especially as the spirited number one fan of the Urbana Hillclimbers. Her cheers echoed loudly through the crowd, a testament to her unwavering love for her family.

Vicki's interests were as diverse as they were heartfelt. She had a profound love for nature, particularly during the beautiful fall months. Christmas held a special place in her heart, with nutcrackers adorning her home as festive decorations. Despite her late husband's allegiance to Michigan, Vicki remained a loyal supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. Music was another passion of hers; she enjoyed attending concerts in the park and listening to artists from the Beatles and Elton John era.

Described as a woman who mothered everyone she knew, Vicki's caring nature shone through not just in her career but in every aspect of her life.

Vicki is survived by her beloved daughters Vankeya "Nikki" Rogan and Micah Rogan (Michael Peterson Jr.); grandchildren, Sydnee Rogan, Damiyr Dyson (Destiny Kemp), Jacob Dyson, Michael Peterson III, Mekhi Lewis Peterson, Jerome and Justin Peterson; great-granddaughters, Cambree Arielle and Cailynn Aleece; brothers, Larry Reisinger and Joe (Crystal) Reisinger; sister, Karen Miller; aunt Rosie; uncle Eddie; special cousin, Lisa (Jim) Music; special friends, Shirley Diehl, Dawn Trent, and Kathy Williams; brother-in-law, Larry (Shannon) Rogan; sisters-in-law, Valerie and Rhonda Rogan; and several nieces and nephews that loved her.
