Thomas Daulton Jr.

Thomas Daulton Jr., age 66 of Urbana, Ohio passed away on June 6, 2023 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on October 26, 1956 in Urbana, Ohio to Thomas Leo and Bonnie Lou (Hixon) Daulton. Thomas is survived by his mother, Bonnie Daulton, children, Chad (Melissa) Daulton, Mandy (Joshua) Spriggs, and Amber Downard, grandchildren, Sarah, Emily, Kaitlyn, Garrett, Abagail, Amelia, Aidan, and Landon, and siblings, James, Steve (Renee), Tami, and Terri. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Leo Daulton, and grandson, Thomas Scott Daulton.

Thomas selflessly served our country in the United States Navy from July 3, 1975 until July 2, 1981 when he was honorably discharged. After his military service, Thomas was a truck driver for Midwest Logistics for over 20 years. He enjoyed gambling, especially playing slot machines and horse racing. Thomas was the kind of guy to give you the shirt off his back. He was always thinking of others, never of himself. He was a caring family man who loved his children and grandchildren dearly. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements in the care of the Walter and Lewis Funeral Home, Urbana.
