Theodore Phillip Everhart Sr.,

Theodore “Ted” Phillip Everhart Sr., 77, of Springfield, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 25, 2018 in Springfield Regional Medical Center.
He was born on July 9, 1941 in Springfield, OH, a son of Oscar and Dorothy (Morgan) Everhart. Ted retired from IH/Navistar after 36 years of service and later worked at the Speedway home office in Enon.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Ruth (Bridges) Everhart; daughters, Melinda (Larry) Muhammad and Kathy (Burrel Thornhill) Everhart; sons, Tim (Julie) Everhart, John Everhart and Theodore Everhart Jr.; grandchildren, Joseph Everhart, Alysha (Travis) Grimm and Torianne Everhart; and great-grandchildren, Evan Matthews, Cayden Everhart, Conner Everhart and Beau Grimm.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2018 in the WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, where a service will be held at 12 p.m. with Pastor Brandon Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Tremont City.
