Susan K. Taylor

Susan K. Taylor, 60, of Springfield died at 5:44 P.M. Saturday, June 15, 2013 in Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana. She was born May 6, 1953 in Springfield, a daughter of Harry and La-Donna (Lewis) Knasel, Jr. Susan a graduate of Tecumseh High School was a member at Grace United Methodist Church and volunteered her time and talents at Vancrest of Urbana. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Patrick, whom she married May 21, 1977; sons Matthew Taylor and Nicholas Taylor; grandchildren, Nicholas Taylor, Jr, Dominick Taylor, Blake Taylor, her mother, sister Malinda Vaughn and her husband Roger and brother Dale Knasel all of Springfield. She was preceded in death by her father. The funeral will be held at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, June 19, 2013 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana with Pastor Mark Weatherman officiating.
