Sharon M. Baker

Sharon M. Baker, 61, of Urbana, died at 7:10 a.m. on Friday, October 25, 2013 in Mercy McAuley Center, Urbana. She was born on November 9, 1951 in Columbus, OH, the daughter of William M. and Margaret G. (Brown) Baker. Sharon worked at Lawnview Industries, enjoyed doing hook and latch, puzzles, bowling and listening to country music. Survivors include her aunt, Esther Dutton of St. Louis, MO; caretakers, Helen Strayer of Springfield and Connie Shaffer of Urbana; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents John H. and Eve Baker and Claude and Alma Evilsizer. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, October 28, 2013 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, where a service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2013 with Rev.
