Ronald D. Wolford

Ronald D. Wolford, 63, of Urbana, died on Thursday, February 5, 2015 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born on December 25, 1951 in Dayton, OH, the son of Cy and Francine (Fleming) Wolford. Ronald was a 1969 graduate of Urbana High School and served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam era. He retired from Siemens and enjoyed golf, playing the drums and poker. Survivors include 2 sons, Clinton Wolford and fiancé Heather Eyler of Troy and Mark Hamilton of Bourbonnis, IL; 4 grandchildren, Devan Wolford, Jordan Wolford, Adalynne Wolford and Kristi Hamilton; a sister, Ann Wolford; and a brother, Rick Fleming. He was preceded in death by his parents. Family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2015 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, where a service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Memorial contributions in Ronalds memory may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
