Robert G. "Bob" Fox

Robert G. “Bob” Fox, 67, of Urbana, died on Friday, December 21, 2012, at 2:40 p.m. in Heartland of Urbana. He was born March 2,1945 in Urbana, the son of Jack Houser Fox and Mary (Randall) Fox. He graduated from Urbana High School where he was a MVP on the high school basketball team. He worked at International Harvester Company. Robert was a former member of the Urbana Moose, American Legion Post #120 Pearce Kerns, AmVets, VFW and Eagles. He loved to play poker and softball. Survivors include his daughter, Debbie Fox of Bellefontaine and sons, Jack H. Fox II of Bellefontaine and Jay Fox of Colorado, grandchildren Joseph Brown, Kelsey Fox, Emily Fox, Jonathan Kinchen, Haley Fox, Ashley Fox and Mason Fox, great grandchild Briley Mycole Ward. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Phyllis Joan McDonald. Family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Wednesday, December 26, 2012 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St, Urbana where services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 27, 2012. Burial will follow in the Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana.
