Robert E. Schwemmer

Robert E. Schwemmer, “The Gigolo Kid,” 79, of Urbana, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in Springfield Regional Medical Center, surrounded by loving family.
Robert is survived by his children, Penny (Pat) Zang of Urbana, Bobby (Angel) Berry of Maryland, Janie Kuhn, Elvis Foy of Urbana, Jenny “private nurse” and Jerrold Miller of Urbana, Brittany Anastasia of Delaware, Sue Zang of Urbana, and Lori (Rod) Albright of Urbana; several loving grandchildren, Victoria and Rick of Urbana, Little Bobby, Deanna “Sissy”, Martina “Booper”, Brianna, Erica, all of Maryland, Elvis Jr. “EJ” of Delaware, Cassandra and Cory McGinnis of Springfield, Courtney, Christiana and Michael, all of Maryland, Seth and Izabella “Izzy” Miller of Urbana; and one great-grandchild, Jane McGinnis.
Robert enjoyed playing video games, collecting vintage cars, shopping with his daughter (“make a day of it Penny Sue”) and watching western movies and was a big fan of Elvis Presley and James Dean.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 40 years, Pansy Schwemmer, and Mama Janie.
There will be no services held, honoring Robert’s request, and he will be cremated.
