Robert E. Kiser

Robert E. Kiser, 93, of Urbana, passed away February 26, 2017 at home with his loyal dog Sadie by his side.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, June (Zoll); son, Robert H. Kiser; daughter, Peggy (Glen) Jurmann; grandson, William Kiser; and great-grandchildren, Poppy and John Kiser.
He was born on July 14, 1923 to Harry and Bernice (Enoch) Kiser in Urbana Township. For over 50 years, Bob was self-employed in a variety of areas, was inventive and had many useful skills. He was a WWII veteran serving in Europe and was wounded while with the 45th “Thunderbirds” Army Infantry Division.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2017 in the Oak Dale Cemetery chapel, Urbana. Casual dress is requested for those attending the service.
