Robert C. Lemaster

Robert C. LeMaster, 84, of Urbana, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 in Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville.
He was born on April 10, 1934 in Manila, KY, a son of Luther and Lura (Collins) LeMaster. Robert was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army, and retired from International Harvester after more than 30 years of service. He was also a member of the Faith Fellowship Church in Urbana.
Survivors include a daughter, Denise (Steve) Thornburg; two grandchildren, Matthew (Jody) Thornburg and Megan (Ryan) Lewis; four great-grandchildren, Beck Elliott Thornburg, Ridge Matthew Thornburg, Molly June Lewis and Ellery Ruth Lewis; and his twin, Marjorie Jo Holbrook.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruth Irene (Blair) LeMaster; a son, Allen LeMaster; and seven brothers and sisters.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019 in the WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 in the Faith Fellowship Church, 236 Bloomfield Ave., Urbana, with Rev. Mike Maurice officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty.
Memorial contributions in Robert’s memory may be made to the Faith Fellowship Church.
