Robert "Bob" A. Boza

Robert A. “Bob” Boza, age 70, of Urbana, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on April 10, 1946 in Salamanca, NY, a son of Frank and Viola (Goudy) Boza. Bob was a 1964 graduate of Barberton High School, served in the Navy and retired from Systemax Mfg. He enjoyed playing golf and working in the yard, as he was always working on a project. Bob was interested in world history and trivia and was an exceptional listener, even if you didn’t think he was listening.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Betsy (Russell) Boza; son, James “Jim-Bob” (Beth) Boza of Delaware; sisters, Cindy Smith, Gail Mattingly and Bonnie Mamay; brothers-in-law, Michael “Mick” (Mary Kay) Russell and Merrell “Mack” (Mary) Russell; nieces and nephews; faithful furry friend, Badger; and special friends, the Lear Family – Rob, Kim, Jeremiah and Maggie.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2016 in the WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, where a memorial service will be held at 4 p.m.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to Springfield Regional Medical Center and the Springfield Regional Cancer Center, as well as the in-hospital hospice unit at SRMC, for their care of Bob.
