Richard W. Spires

Richard W. Spires, 67, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 in his residence.
He was born on July 11, 1951 in Urbana, OH, a son of Richard and Phyllis (Current) Spires. Richard enjoyed fishing and he worked at Ever Roll Specialties Co., retiring after 20 years of service.
Survivors include his father, Richard Spires; daughter, Tracy (Thomas) Strange; son, Kyle (Courtney) Spires; grandchildren, Jacob Quick and Gabriel Spires; nephew, Jesse Spires; and friends and neighbors, Don and Joyce Saunders.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Spires, and sisters, Kathy Spires and Joetta Spires.
