Richard H. "Dickie" Robinson

Richard H. Dickie Robinson Sr., 83, of Urbana, died on Sunday, March 8, 2015 in Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana. He was born on September 10, 1931 in Urbana, OH, the son of Harry J. and Sarah E. (Huffman) Robinson. A graduate of Urbana High School, he was a member of Jerusalem Second Baptist Church. Richard served in the U.S. Army, retired from International Harvester after 35 years and was a member of the UAW Local 402 Retirees. He enjoyed bowling and fishing. Survivors include 2 sons, Brett Robinson and Brad Robinson; 2 stepsons, Ryan Edley and Vincent Edley; grandchildren, Jordan Michael Robinson, Jayden Matthew Robinson, Michael Robinson, Juanita Robinson and Richard Robinson III; numerous great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Sarah Seward and Betty Howell; a brother, Bobby Robinson; former wife, Bonnie Balenger; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Marlene Mortimer. He was preceded by his parents and a son, Richard Ricky Robinson. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2015 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, and also an hour prior to the service being held at 12 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2015 with Rev.
