Renita Sherri Jeffers

Renita Sherri Jeffers, age 49, of Urbana, OH went to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 11, 2014 in her residence after a short battle with cancer. She was born on March 25, 1964 in Ashland, KY to Juanita (Miles) Holbrook and the late A. J. Cassidy. She was married in Catlettsburg, KY to Scott Jeffers on January 10, 1994. She was employed at ODW Logistics in Urbana, OH. She enjoyed crafting, making beaded jewelry and painting pottery. Renita is survived by her loving husband Scott, one daughter Chasity and her husband Brian Thomas of Sandy Hook, KY, and one son Mitchell Jeffers of Urbana, OH. She is also survived by her mother Juanita Holbrook of Houston, TX and sister Beth and her husband Matthew Smith of Galveston, TX. She leaves behind several aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews as well as her dearly loved German shepherd Gizmo and cat Whiskers. Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday January 15, 2014 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana and again on Thursday, January 15, 2014 from 10-11 a.m. in the Grace Baptist Church, 960 Childrens Home Road, Urbana, where the services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Michael Bird officiating.
