Randy W. Harrington

Randy W. Harrington, 55, of Urbana, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 in his home with family by his side.
He was born on August 4, 1961 in Urbana, OH, a son of Donald and Doris Mae (Davis) Harrington Sr. A graduate of Urbana High School, Randy previously worked for Urbana City Schools and Robert’s Refuse, followed by 13 years for the City of Urbana, and then was employed by Ralph Moore’s Excavating. He was an avid NASCAR fan and Michigan fan.
Survivors include: stepfather, George Weatherhead Jr.; girlfriend of 6 years, Phyllis Borders; siblings, Toni Cox, Robin (David) Moody, Tammy (Terry) Ratcliff, Virgil Weatherhead (Laurie Stevens) and Suprena Davis; several nieces, nephews and great- nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jim and Shirley Huffman and Tim and Tammy Detwiler.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Donald Harrington, Jr. and Chris Michael Weatherhead; sisters, Tracey Jo Harrington and Esther Diane Rogan; and grandparents, William Virgil and Nellie Evadne Davis and Grandma Weatherhead.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017 in the WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St., Urbana, OH where a service will be held at 5 p.m. with Pastor Mike Grable.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family.
