Phyllis Jean Milledge

Phyllis J. Milledge, 79, of Urbana, died peacefully surrounded by her family at home on Sunday, September 14, 2014. Phyllis was born January 23, 1935 in Springfield, a daughter of Wilbur and Helen (Cox) Achor. Phyllis, a member of the Grace Baptist Church, retired from Honeywell. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking and ceramics. She is survived by her children, Jeff Bud (Beth) Brentlinger of Bellefontaine, Fred (Debbie) Brentlinger of Bellefontaine, and Susan (Larry) Yowler of Springfield; 7 grandchildren, Kelly and Matt Oates, Katie and Dave Laird, Ryan and Kate Brentlinger, Heather and Aaron Dunham, Amanda and Craig Conley, Travis and Katie Brentlinger, and Maggie Yowler; 10 great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Katherine, Caleb, Brianna, Parker, Lindsey, Jeffery, Lucas, Caroline, and Kinsley; sisters, Hazel Faulkner of Urbana, and Donna Albright of Bucyrus; brothers, David (Diane) Achor, Bellefontaine, and Daniel (Sandy) Achor of Bellefontaine; and several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph R. Milledge on June 1, 2012; and sisters, Barbara and Ruth Ann. Services will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St. Urbana, OH with Pastor Aaron Samples of Grace Baptist Church officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours before the service in the funeral home from Noon-2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Urbana.
