Phylis Radford

Phyllis Radford, 70, of Urbana, went to be with her Lord, with family and friends by her bedside at 2:20 P.M. Thursday, September 27, 2012, in her residence. She was born May 20, 1942 in Springfield, OH, a daughter of Russsell and Norma (Smittle) Coss. She was a 1960 graduate of Springfield South and worked at DARE PAFCO, Grimes Aerospace and Urbana Home Health Care. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Dale whom she married May 29, 1976, daughters Connie Evans of Kettering, OH Charma Brown of Urbana, OH and step-daughter Kimberly (Tom) Thompson of Lakeview, OH; son Christopher L. (Jacqueline) Radford of Columbus, OH; grandchildren Megan Arbogast, Matthew and Alex Evans, Lindsay and Eli Brown, Tanner Radford and A.J. Grumbling , Kaylee, Madison and Devin Thompson; great grandchildren Caleb Arbogast and Gage Pierce; sisters Nancy L. (Bud) Hoffer of Urbana, OH and Barbara (Wes) Kushmaul of Fairborn, OH, brother Ronald L. (Kathy) Coss of Springfield, OH, and dear friends Jan and Wayne Nichol of Urbana as well as numerous nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandson Aaron Hart. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. Sunday, September 30, 2012 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main Street, Urbana, where the funeral will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, October 1, 2012, with Rev. Kevin Horrigan officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana. Pallbearers will be Eli Brown, Clint Pierce, Wayne Nichol, Larry Radford, Nathan Arbogast and John Evans. Contributions may be made in Phyllis’s memory to The Community Mercy Hospice, 444 W.
