Phillip Scott Williams, 50, of Urbana, passed away at home on Friday, August 21, 2015 surrounded by his loved ones after fighting pancreatic cancer for several months. Phillip is survived by his parents Paul and Linda Williams; daughters, Brittany Hardwick (Shane) and Kyla Marshall; son, Brandon Williams; brother, Brian Williams (Sharon); 8 grandchildren, Xavier, Sarah, Chloe and Stephen Williams, Pazlee and Kamren Hardwick, Kaden and Devon Marshall; 4 nieces and nephews; girlfriend, Sally Glover; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends. Phillip graduated from Graham High School and worked as a heavy equipment operator at Mad River Topsoil. Phillip loved Indian powwows, The Bengals, tractor pulls, antiques, fishing, cooking and hanging out with family and friends. A memorial service will be held at Grace Baptist Church on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 1 p.m. Family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 p.m. that day. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial contributions be made to Miami Valley Hospice, 1948 N. Limestone St., Springfield, OH 45503. The family would like to express a special thank you to Miami Valley Hospice and nurse Marcy Crawford, RN. The family is being served by Walter & Stowe Funeral Home, Urbana.
