Philip Anthony Hammons

Philip Anthony Hammons, Sr., 55, of Urbana, went to be home with the Lord and his son on Thursday, April 28, 2016 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born September 18, 1960 in Springfield, OH, a son of Junior and Charlotte (Harris) Hammons. Philip enjoyed fishing as well as playing Bingo and lottery tickets. Survivors include son Jeffrey Hammons of Dayton; Andrew VanPelt of Dayton, who was like a son to him; and a sister, Barbara (Michael) Daniels of Urbana. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Philip Hammons, Jr. Services will be held at the convenience of the family, who is being served by WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, Urbana.
