Orrin Clark Grosjean, Retired Command Chief Master Sergeant, age 73, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in the Wright-Patterson AFB Medical Center. He was both an organ donor and an organ recipient.
He was born on March 30, 1945 in Wooster, OH, a son of Joseph and Thelma (Clark) Grosjean. Orrin was a veteran of Vietnam who served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the DAV Chapter 31 in Urbana, VFW Post 5451, American Legion and Eastern Star as well as the 358 Masonic Lodge F&AM of Wadsworth. Orrin was also a member of the Terre Haute United Methodist Church and the Champaign County Cattleman’s Club.
Survivors include his wife, Pat (Uhler) Grosjean; son, Orrin (Trish) Grosjean Jr. of Clarksville, TN; granddaughters, Shelby Grosjean and Ryan Grosjean; and lovable dog, Lady Dog.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Grosjean.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2018 in the WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, Urbana as well as one hour prior to the service in the church. A service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 in the Terre Haute United Methodist Church, 5938 State Route 55, Urbana, with Rev. Barbara Pope officiating.
