Octavia M. Howell

Octavia M. Howell, 27, of Urbana, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 in Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. She was born April 30, 1985 in Providence, RI, the daughter of Norman F. Lincoln Jr. and Kim (Grice) Lincoln. Octavia graduated from Urbana High School, received an associate’s degree from the University of Phoenix, and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include her father, Norman Lincoln Jr. of Providence, RI, mother, Kim Lincoln of Urbana, husband, Jeren Howell of Urbana, daughter, Sophia Howell,6, son, Jeren Howell Jr., 4, sister, Heather Lincoln of Springfield, brother, Norman Lincoln III of Cincinnati, mother-in-law, Rosalie (Ron) Releford of Urbana, father-in-law, Tim Howell of Urbana, maternal grandmother, Jean Grice of Urbana, brother-in-law, Kalen Howell of Springfield, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Luther Caudill. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Church of the Nazarene, 1999 E. State Route 29, Urbana, with Pastor Larry Hall officiating. The family is being served by WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St., Urbana.
