Norma Alicia Gonzalez

Norma Alicia Gonzalez, 59, of Urbana, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 7, 2018 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center.
She was born on October 15, 1958 in Urbana, OH, a daughter of Pedro V. and Maria (Sanchez) Gonzalez. Norma loved babysitting, going to church, reading and writing.
Survivors include her brothers, Pete Gonzalez, Robert Gonzalez, Alexander Gonzalez and Ray Gonzalez; and two sisters, Linda Gonzalez and Sylvia Gonzalez (Robert) Rice; 11 nieces and nephews; 21 great-nieces and nephews; and one great, great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her father, Pedro V. Gonzalez; mother, Maria S. Gonzalez; brother, Eduardo Gonzalez; sister, Teresa Maria Gonzalez; grandparents, Pedro and Elvida Gonzalez and Suzano Sanchez and Teresa Sanchez; and uncles, Isador Gonzalez, Ray Gonzalez and Mike Gonzalez.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018 in the WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, where a service will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Doug Houser officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana.
