Nancy Susan Loffer

Nancy Susan Loffer, 72, of West Liberty, went home to be with her Lord on Monday morning, March 16, 2015 in Kobacker House, Columbus. She was born April 27, 1942 in Altoona, PA, and was the daughter of Irvin V. and Fern (Headings) Baumgartner. Nancy accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age. She taught at Logan Hills Schools in Zanesfield from 1963-1970 and Hardin Central Elementary in Kenton from 1970-1993. Nancy married Chester Loffer in 1982 and he survives her. Along with her husband, she was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Urbana, taught Sunday School and Bible School and worked with the youth. Nancy loved her kids and teaching as well as enjoyed writing poetry. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2015 and 12-1 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2015 in Grace Baptist Church, 960 Childrens Home Road, Urbana, where a service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday with Pastor Aaron Samples officiating. Burial will follow in South Union Cemetery, West Liberty. Memorial contributions may be made to Victory Christian School or Bearing Precious Seed, c/o 960 Childrens Home Road, Urbana, OH 43078.
