Nadyne Bodey

BODEY, Nadyne age 90 of Lakeview, Ohio, previously of Urbana passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. She was born in Montgomery County, Ohio to the late Foster and Thelma (Drummond) Doughman on November 30, 1930. In addition to her parents, Nadyne is preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard "Dick" Bodey; son, Barton Bodey and her sister, Barbara (Than) Moffitt. She leaves behind her son, Doug (Vera) Bodey; grandchildren: Abbra (John) Branan, Katy (Alison Fearn) Bodey, Kori (Ben) Kirkmeyer, Richard (Emily) Bodey, Michael (Courtney) Bodey, Marjorie (Luke) Campbell, Elijah (Kyra) Bodey; great-grandchildren: Khierstyn Branan, Vincent Kirkmeyer, Elizabeth Bodey, Lucille Bodey, Zola Bodey, Cora Jo Campbell as well as her niece, Jan Short and nephew, Rick (Connie) Moffitt. Nadyne was a dedicated secretary for Urbana Elementary for many years where she ran the school's credit union. She and her husband moved to Indian Lake to enjoy retirement. She was blessed with a green thumb and adored taking care of her plants and flowers. Nadyne was a member of Indian Lake Quilt Club and Garden Club. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Walter & Lewis Funeral Home from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at Oakdale Cemetery.
