Mildred I. Harvey

Mildred I. (Perry) Burden, Harvey, 90, of Urbana, went to be with her Lord on September 12, 2016 in her home.
She was born November 26, 1925 in Champaign County, OH, a daughter of Harry Thurle and Eva Elizabeth (Albright) Perry. She retired from Grimes Manufacturing where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club. Mildred was active for 55 years in Eastern Star. She joined the Elizabeth M. Hood Chapter on November 27, 1961, which later merged with the Caroline Chapter on March 6, 2002, and she twice served as a Worthy Grand Patron.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; brother-in-law, Larry Burden; and sister-in-law, Joanne Yoder.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Earl Burden and Chuck Harvey; her parents; sisters, Lu Vaughn “Bonnie” Snyder, Lillian “Pill” Frost and Louise Charles; and brother, Homer “Bud” Thurle Perry.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2016 in the WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, with Eastern Star service at 7:45 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2016 in the Mutual Grace United Methodist Church, East State Route 29, Mutual, with Pastor Richard Smyers officiating.
