Michael E. Brozouski, 71, of Urbana, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 in his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born on January 23, 1946 in Buffalo, NY, a son of Edward and Lillian (Rost) Brozouski. Michael was just 16 when he graduated from high school and 19 when he graduated from Buffalo University and received his bachelor’s degree. He worked as a mechanical engineer for Delphi and NASA and designed pumping stations for the Alaskan Pipeline.
Michael was a family man, and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Urbana.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia “Pat” (Huffman) Brozouski; children, Gary (Karen) Harris, Michael (Christina) Cox, Stacey (Tim) Seelig, Kelli (Dale) Northup, Kathy (Paul) Rose, Debbie (Timothy) Wiles, and Kenneth (Melanie) Brozouski; 22 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a special niece, Katie Cottrell; and his dachshund, Harley.
Family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m. on Monday, April 3, 2017 in St. Mary Catholic Church, 231 Washington Ave., Urbana, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow in the Oak Dale Cemetery Mausoleum, Urbana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420 or the Cancer Association of Champaign County, P.O. Box 38125, Urbana, OH 43078.
