Melissa Lynne Yates

Melissa Lynne Yates, 54, of Urbana, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. She was born on November 20, 1966, in Delaware, Ohio. In addition to her father, Donald Wood, she is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Naomi Yates. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Charles Yates; her children whom she adored, Megan Robbins, Patricia Yates and Adrian Yates-Meyer; grandchildren and the light of her eyes, Charles Robbins, Abby Robbins, Ashten Yates and Liam Yates; father-in-law, Raymond Yates, brother-in-law, Michael Yates; and friend, James Robbins. Melissa loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She was a wonderful and caring wife, mother and grandmother who cherished every minute spent with her family.
