Mayann Marie Courtaway

COURTAWAY, Mayann Marie, was welcomed home into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, February 28, 2015. Mayann was born in Dayton, Ohio on February 10, 2015 to Dennis and Nichole (Huffman) Courtaway. She fought hard for 18 days, and already had the reputation of being a feisty little one. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. Along with her parents, Mayann is survived by her Auntie D. (Brandon) Williams; Cousins, Xavier, Sarah, Chloe, and Stephen, her Maternal Great Grandmother, Sarah Tasy; Honorary Grammy, Angelika Paxman, all of Urbana; her Paternal Grandparents, Ronald and Brenda Courtaway of Troy; Aunt Krista (Chris) Roten of North Carolina; Uncle Steven (Megan) Courtaway of Tipp City; and Paternal Great Grandmother, Sue Cornett of New Lebanon. She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents, Stephen and Jeanette Huffman; as well as her Aunt Sara Courtaway. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m., also at the funeral home, with Pastor Aaron Samples officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mutual.
