Mary Nesbit

Mary Nesbit, 91, of Urbana, died at 1:39 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2014 in the Ohio State Medical Center, Columbus, OH. She was born November 23, 1922 in Urbana, the daughter of John J. and Bernice A. (Connolly) Dickey. Mary was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, graduated from St. Mary School. She had worked at Urbana Tar and Asphalt and retired from the Urbana J.C. Penny Store Survivors include daughters, Kathleen A. (Roger) Packman of North Lewisburg, Karen M. (Gregg) Stuart of North Lewisburg, son, Joseph V. (fiancée Janet Moore) Nesbit of Urbana; grandchildren Sarah (Chris) Stricker, Roger Packman III, Jennifer (Mark), Robinson, Amy (Andrew) Donahoe, Todd (Julie) Nesbit; great grandchildren, Tre, Robbie, and Aaron Jordan, Jaci and Arianna Harris, DaCota and Caitlin Hollar, Marah, Brody and Will Donahoe; sister Margaret A. Baker of Marysville; several nieces, nephews and cousins, and special friend, Phil Hartzler. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Virgil Nesbit on December 19, 2000; grandson Gregory Stuart II and brothers John J. Dickey and Richard B.Dickey. Family will receive friends Tuesday, October, 21, 2014 from 5-8 P.M. in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St., Urbana, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 10 A.M. in St. Mary Church, 231 Washington Ave, Urbana, OH, with Fr. Larry Gearhart celebrant.
