Mary L. Holding

Mary L. Holding, 90, of Urbana, died at 8:58 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2012 in Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana. She was born on March 11, 1922 in Champaign County, Ohio, the daughter of Charlie Clinton and Bertha (Kennedy) Kennedy. Mary graduated from North Lewisburg High School in 1940 and retired from Howard Bond Paper Company after 36 years of service. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, who died December 13, 2003, sisters, Viola Jordan, Hazel Markin, Ruth Goldsberry, and brother, Paul Kennedy. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana. The family is being served by the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana.
