Mary Ellen Blair

Mary Ellen Blair, 80, of Urbana, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 31, 2018 surrounded by family.
She was born on February 16, 1938 in Jackson County, OH, a daughter of Shirley and Ruth (Salyers) Horsley. Ellen was a member of the Urbana Freewill Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother and devoted sister. She loved the Lord and her family and received great joy tending to her flowers and gardening.
Survivors include her children, Gary (Tricia) Blair, Cindy (John) Zugaro, Shelly (Gary) Reser and Mike (Kim) Blair; grandchildren, Maggie (Dan) Carey, Abby Blair and Dominic Blair; great-grandchildren, Ira Creviston, Kayla Carey and Danika Carey; siblings, Betty (Bob) Kunkle, Darlene (Carl) Jones, Judy (Jim) Wayman, Ronnie (Lois) Horsley and Jerry Horsley; special sister-in-law, Diana Horsley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Bernett Blair; and brothers, Kenny Horsley and Roger Horsley.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 in the WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018 in the Urbana Freewill Baptist Church, 1658 E. U.S. Route 36, Urbana, with Pastor Grant Cordell officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana.
