Martha R. Price

Martha R. Price, 91, of Lucedale, MS, died on Saturday, February 2, 2013 in George Regional Medical Center, Lucedale, MS. She was born April 11, 1921 in Champaign County, Ohio, the daughter of Charles Fredrick and Mary Estella (Cooper) Powell. Martha was a graduate of Middleburg High School and attended Cedarville College. She was a member of the Woodsfield, OH Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed sewing and cooking. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Mowrey of Calhoun City, MS, son, John (Judy) Price of Cold Spring, KY, grandchildren, Benjamin Crabtree, Douglas Crabtree, John R. Price and Joy Hayden, and five great-grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Paul R. Price, great-grandson, Jarrett Price, and sisters, Mildred Poole, Marie Dillon and Helen Fisher. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2013 in Kingscreek Cemetery with Pastor Jim Lillibridge officiating.
