Martha Ellen Tuttle

Martha Ellen Tuttle, 88, of Urbana, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015. She was born on May 5, 1927 in Springfield, OH, a daughter of Albert R. and Ellen (Otstot) Tuttle. Martha was a 1945 graduate of Urbana Local and 1949 graduate Ohio Wesleyan University with a bachelors degree in home economics. She was retired from Urbana City Schools and Rosemarys Hallmark Store. Martha was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Urbana. Survivors include sons, James R. (Kathy) Pullins of Mechanicsburg and Donald C. (Carol) Pullins of Greensboro, NC; daughter, Janet M. (Jeff) Purdin of West Liberty; 3 grandchildren, Scott, Ross and Laura Pullins of Greensboro, NC; and 3 nephews and one niece. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lucile (Tuttle) Sweet and son-in-law, Rick Nelson. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, November 27, 2015 in the WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, where a service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2015. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
