Marjorie L. Nash

Marjorie L. Nash, 90, of Cable, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018.
She was born on December 21, 1927 in Urbana, OH, a daughter of Leroy and Mary Goldie Ethel (Gordley) Taylor. Marjorie was a member of Mt. Carmel Friends Church and retired from Honeywell in 1993 after 27 years of service.
She enjoyed warm weather and sunshine, working outside, feeding the birds and visiting the Smoky Mountains. Marjorie’s favorite color was green and she enjoyed Taster’s Choice coffee.
Survivors include a daughter, Carmel Nash; a son, Gary Nash; very special family friends, Danielle (John) Wall, Darrin (Kate) Turner, David (Donna) Turner and Mike (Rosie) Steward; neighbor and friend, Mike Shuler; six “great-grandchildren”; several nieces and nephews; and a special dog, Ellie May.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom Nash; and sisters, Betty Wootton and Juanita Irvin.
Family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 in the Mt. Carmel Evangelical Friends Church, 3470 Kennard Kingscreek Road, Cable, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Cable.
Memorial contributions may be made in Marjorie’s memory to PAWS Animal Shelter or Hospice of Dayton.
