Lynn E. Ferryman

Lynn E. Ferryman, 74, of Urbana, went home to be with his wife, Carolyn, on Monday, May 2, 2016 in Mercy McAuley Center, Urbana. He was born on September 17, 1941 in Champaign County, OH, son of William Ferryman and Ruby Clark. Lynn was a graduate of Salem High School and was valedictorian of his class. He was a member of Harmony Lodge No. 8. Lynn was an avid antique tractor collector, was a member of the Logan County Antique Power Association and loved his 1930 Model A Ford. Survivors include sons, Jamie (Lori) Ferryman and Chris (Heather) Ferryman; grandchildren, Ashley Ferryman and Kendra Ferryman; step-granddaughter, Breanna Hibbs; and siblings, Jack Ferryman, Jill Ferryman Gebel and Jeff Ferryman. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother and stepfather, Ruby and Oren Clark and father and stepmother, William and Ethel Ferryman, and wife, Carolyn (Delaney) Ferryman. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2016 in the WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, with a Masonic service at 7:45 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, North Lewisburg. Memorial contributions in Lynns memory may be made to Mercy McAuley Center, 906 Scioto St., Urbana, OH 43078.
