Lula Marie Austin

Lula Marie Cutlip Austin, 96, of Urbana, went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2015 at 3 a.m. She was born on July 2, 1919 in Urbana, OH, a daughter of Dave and Flora (Mattox) Smith. She was a hard worker and a member of Eagles Lodge 979. Lula enjoyed spending time with her sisters, Janet Pearson and Ann Dunlap, and daughter Edna Adams. She also enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as her dog, Donna. Survivors include a daughter, Edna Adams; sisters, Janet Pearson and Ann Dunlap; and nephews Tim Pearson and Steve Russell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Flora Smith; children, Leonard Austin, Eldo Cutlip, Joe Cutlip and Cheryl Massie; and grandchild, William Billy Cutlip. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2015 in WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kevin Moehn officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana. Acting as pallbearers will be James Cutlip Sr., James Cutlip Jr., Victor Cutlip, Josh Cutlip, Danny Cutlip and Dustin Rich.
