MOSS, Lucy V., age 86 of Urbana, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 13, 2024. She was born on November 1, 1937 in Beaver, Ohio to the late Charles Edward and Gladys Mildred (Reisinger) Trent. In addition to her parents, Lucy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Eugene Moss; her sons: William "Skeeter" Moss Jr., and Randy Moss; siblings: Donald, Dallas, Kenny, Gene, Mazel, Ethel, and Jerry as well as her sweet great-granddaughter, Aalia Khazaal. She leaves her legacy of love to her son, Kevin Moss; grandchildren: Chris (Tomie) Moss, Nate (Tanisha) Moss, Kaley (James) Hall III, Kyralyn Moss, and Karingtin Moss; great-grandchildren: Damion, Alexis, Jordan, Aubrey, Alaynah, Jayce, Madison, Zoey, Kinsley, Kennedy and baby Hall arriving this fall. Lucy is also survived by her siblings: Diane Trent, Viola Howard, Nancy Smith, Richard (Dawn) Trent, Danny Trent, Douglas Trent, and Suzanne Porter as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Lucy will forever be remembered for the love she had for her family and others. She was a devoted employee at Mumford's Potato Chips & Deli for over 25 years where she would greet every customer with an infectious smile. Lucy enjoyed taking walks and coordinating family get-togethers. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Jerusalem 2nd Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. with a celebration of life service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Reverends Herschel Byrd and Michael Freeman officiating.
