Lucile Hopkins

Lucile Hopkins, 86, of Urbana, died on Saturday, May 17, 2014 in Mercy McAuley Center, Urbana. She was born on June 24, 1927 in New Haven Township, MI, the daughter of Alpha and Susan (Mininger) Peters. Lucile was a cook for 21 years who retired from Mad River-Green Local School District. Survivors include 2 daughters, Carolyn A. Knox and husband Harley of Urbana, and Linda D. McCormick and husband David of Horseheads, NY; grandchildren, Daniel DeLong and Michael McCormick; a sister, Edith Rapson of Ithaca, MI; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Kenneth Lombard and Howard D. Hopkins; brother, Reno Peters; and sisters, Marie Kreiger, June Peters and Kathryn Browne.
