Linda Sue Cochran

Linda Sue Cochran, 62, of Urbana, died on Monday, November 30, 2015 in Heartland of Urbana. She was born on December 22, 1952 in Springfield, OH, to the late Franklin D. and Sue C. (Chapman) Cochran. A member of the Red Hat Society and the Urbana-Champaign County Senior Citizens Center, Linda always had a positive outlook on life and knew no strangers. She enjoyed the music of Elvis Presley and was blessed each day by her dog Maggie May. Linda, a reverend herself, was known by her faith in Jesus Christ and was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union. She always contributed what she could to her church and her last thoughts were give Jesus Christ as your life as he gave his last breath for you. Linda was an aunt to Dawn and Keith Elliott. She is also survived by her brother Louis Cochran and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family. Family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2015 in the WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, where a service will be held at 6 p.m. with Rev. Mike Grable officiating.
