Linda Lou Bailey

Linda Lou Bailey, age 74, passed away on May 28, 2022 in Urbana, Ohio. Linda was born on October 23, 1947 in Urbana, Ohio to the late Leslie R. and Thelma (Johnson) McKee. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, William Bailey Jr., sons; William Bailey III and Douglas (Duke) Bailey, brother, Earl McKee, and sisters and brothers-in-law; Patricia (Carl) Thompson and Shirley (Bill) Brugh. Linda is survived by her loving companion, Dave Jones, children; Tami (Bruce) Ream, Brian Bailey and Chris (Karen) Bailey, grandchildren; Aubrey, Kimi, Brice, Eric, Megan, Cori, Mason, and Matthew, 11 great-grandchildren, sisters; Bonnie (Jesse) Walters, Connie (Tom) Sizemore, and Becky (Ken) Hilton, brothers; Rick (Barb) McKee and Terry (Laura) McKee, brother-in-law, Rick, sisters-in-law, Sherry, Linda, Barb, and Tina, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at ProMedica Hospice for their loving care for mom.

In her freetime, Linda enjoyed fishing, doing jigsaw puzzles, playing board games, and singing karaoke. She also liked to ride around in her golf cart, go camping, and bird watching. Family was most important to her. She loved watching her grandkids and great-grandkids play sports.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 10:00-1:00 p.m. at the Walter and Lewis Funeral Home, Urbana. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Brian Coleman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ProMedica Hospice in Linda’s honor.
