Linda L. Keen

KEEN, Linda L. age 77 of Urbana, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Kindred Hospital. She was born on April 27, 1941 to the late Raymond E. and Margaret Jane (Mason) Weldy in Troy, Ohio. In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Hefner and sweet Sammy, her lab/golden retriever mix. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted life long friend of 44 years, Lana Seeberg; children: Jeffrey Keen, Cheryl (Chuck) Fraley, Lorie (Todd) Stidham, and Kenneth Keen; numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Linda is also survived by her sister, Dorris Hoyt as well as extended family and her wonderful church family. Linda was a member of the First Christian Church in Urbana and retired from F H Bonn in Springfield. She was a talented artist who loved to draw and paint. Linda also enjoyed playing the guitar, taking care of her vegetable garden and loved fishing. Overall Linda was one helluva woman and will be dearly missed by those who knew her. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, Urbana from 4:00-6:00 p.m. with her life celebration service beginning at 6:00 p.m. Pastor Mike Stewart officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial contributions to be made to First Christian Church in Urbana in Linda's honor.
