Linda Joann Burroughs

Linda Joann Burroughs, age 75, passed away on May 14, 2022 in Sidney, Ohio. Linda was born on April 29, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Clifford Carter and Doris Jean (West) Wall. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Lee Burroughs Sr., brother, Keith Wall, and granddog, Molly. She is survived by her daughter, Kristy (Bill) Metzger, sons; Walter and Michael (Leeanne) Burroughs, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, sister, Doris Stansbury, and sister-in-law, Teresa Wall. Pallbearers include; Devon, Eric, John, Bill, Edward, Dalton, and honorary, Travis.

Linda was a woman of God. She loved her church and praising God. Some of her favorite things to do were pray and listen to gospel music. Linda also loved her family. She enjoyed playing phase 10 with the grandkids and great-grandkids.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 10:30-12:00 p.m. at the Walter and Lewis Funeral Home, Urbana. The service will begin at 12:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Tim Bartee. Burial to follow at Oak Dale Cemetery.
