Lewis E. Rogan

Lewis E. Rogan, 64, of Urbana, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 25, 2015 in Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana. He was born December 21, 1950 in Urbana, OH, the son of Hershel and May (Moss) Rogan. Lewis was a hard worker who spent over 10 years at Hobart and retired from Honda Transmission Mfg. after 16 years. He loved the Cleveland Browns, Michigan and Nascar and enjoyed his Honda friends. Lewis loved spending time with family and truly cherished his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Vicki (Reisinger) Rogan; daughters, Vankeya Nikki Rogan of Urbana and Micah Rogan (Michael Peterson Jr.) of Urbana; grandchildren, Sydnee Rogan, Damiyr Dyson, Jacob Dyson, Michael Peterson III, Mekhi Lewis Peterson and Jerome and Justin Peterson; siblings, Marilyn (Clarence) Wright and Hershel, Charles, Larry (Shannon), Valerie and Rhonda Rogan; in-laws, Jim (Dixie), Larry, Tim (Diane) and Joe (Crystal) Reisinger and Karen Miller; aunts and uncles, Zola Rogan, Doris Rogan, Lucy Moss, and Elwood (Mary) Moss; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, Kenny Robinson, Richard Stokes, Mike Howell and Richard Trent. He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Jim and Sarah Reisinger; and special friends, Ed Bear Finch, Jim Hatch Hatcher, David Hill and Todd Stocksdale. Family will receive friends from 1-7 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. Visitation will also be held from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015 in the Jerusalem Second Baptist Church, 1036 S. High St. Urbana, where a service will be held at 10 a.m. with Rev.
