Leffie R. Lafferty

Leffie “Bud” Lafferty, 79, of Urbana, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in Southern Ohio Medical Center, Portsmouth.
He was born on June 5, 1938, a son of Henry and Jeanette (Burchett) Lafferty. Bud was a member of The Moose Lodge in Urbana and was previously self-employed as owner of three bars in Urbana, most recently Touch of Country.
Survivors include his girlfriend of 15 years, Jane Ganson; two daughters, Shari Lafferty and Tami (Jody) Jones; grandchildren, Joseph (Kara) Jones and Tyler Jones; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Weston and Witten; sister, Donna; brothers, Frank and Paul; his Westie dog, Sissy Lafferty; as well as a loving extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Nadine; and a brother, Clifford.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, August 28, 2017 in the WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, where a service will be held at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.
