Kevin Liggins

LIGGINS, Kevin age 70 of Columbus, Ohio, originally from Urbana, Ohio and longtime resident of Chicago, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on July 16, 2024 in Namibia, Africa. He was born on May 3, 1954 to the late Wilbert and Edythe Liggins Jr. In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by his sister and her husband, Rebecca and Larry Nettles Sr. He leaves behind his beloved nephew, Larry (Ally Marty) Nettles Jr,; cousin, Kimberly Meriweather; uncle, Chuck Meriweather and a host of friends. Kevin was a 1972 graduate of Urbana High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Toledo. He recently retired from SAP Hybris. Kevin enjoyed playing pickleball and started learning to play guitar. His passion was traveling the world and was able to enjoy many memories from many different countries. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until his funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Walter & Lewis Funeral Home.
