Kenneth E. Cox

Cox, Kenneth E. Urbana died suddenly on April 3, 2021 at his home. He was 84 years old. He was born the first son of Kenneth C. and Mae F. Cox on December 2, 1936 in Springfield, Ohio. He was raised in Clark and Champaign Counties. He was a graduate of Concord Local (Graham District) Urbana Junior College and Ohio University. He served with the U.S. Navy and later retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserve. He retired from Siemens Energy and Automation as a Quality Control Technician. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Roger C. Cox.
He enjoyed his guns and making his own Ammo and attending family events.
He is Survived by his Cousin David C Cox, wife Dianne of Urbana and Cousin Vernon, wife Linda of Urbana, Kristie Cox Rayburn, her husband Michael of Terre Haute, OH and Dan Cox, his wife Allison of Urbana and a host of Cousins out of the area.
“Little Kenny” will be missed as he was always a presence at family gatherings where he loved to talk to the younger generations about his guns and stories of his youth.
